The Awareness Podcast, Ep.# 75: Living in Not-Knowing with Jenny Beal and Marc Keller: Effortless BeingJul 13, 2023
In this episode, Marc describes how he became a mindfulness trainer and life coach and then went on to explore his true nature more deeply, initially with Jan Geurtz, a non-dual teacher specializing in love and relationships, and later with Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille.
During the Covid pandemic he went deeply into what he really knew for himself. Understanding the non-dual teaching is a starting-point, but it takes courage to really live as consciousness, with no ground beneath your feet.
Marc has a serious and incurable medical condition called ‘restless legs syndrome’ which causes chronic lack of sleep. He explains how living in not-knowing, giving up trying to be the controller, and allowing life to unfold spontaneously provides the greatest relief.
Jenny and Marc discuss how to provide a bridge from the duality of conventional mindfulness to effortless non-duality.

About Marc Keller:
Marc Keller is a mindfulness trainer and life coach. He has a passion to help those looking for more than the standard mindfulness approach to go deeper and discover the natural inner peace, joy and happiness of their true nature.
After completing his master's degree in International Relations, Marc’s interest in other cultures, countries and customs was sparked. An interesting and joyful time followed as an expat and business consultant in East Africa. During this time, he read books about mindfulness, Buddhism and spirituality, learned yoga and meditation, and got to know himself.
In 2012 he returned to the Netherlands and started a career there as a mindfulness-meditation trainer and life coach, in the business world, within mental health care and also for individuals.
Marc has attended retreats, satsangs and year courses with spiritual teachers including Jan Geurtz, Rupert Spira, Adyashanti, Francis Lucille, Katiza Satya and Tilicho. They taught him to trust his own experience and not to take anything from anyone without checking it for yourself. They also challenged and inspired him not only to understand what consciousness is, but also to experience it as his true nature, and dare to live as consciousness. Ever since, this has become central to his life.
